| Review: No other film comes anywhere near to getting people to find out what things would be like if an event was or was not - Groundhog Day comes close (my second favorite) and Sliding Doors tries.For sheer feeling this movie has lot. I've seen it over 40 times now and I'm still crying at the end of the film. If someone wants to find out why life is worth living, it is to see. |

| Review: You're Next is another great home invasion movie, 2013, after school. Now, The Purge is a terrible, terrible, really Inga H. Sveinbjörnsdóttir Catastrophic movie, so bad in fact that is the worst film of my 2013 list. Not only is the next Youre much better film than the pure, its by far the best horror film of year.Certain parallels can be drawn between Youre Next and 2012? S The Cabin in the Woods. Both films share as fairly general horror movies especially as the film itself is, in case you are almost home invasion film. But they quickly turn into something completely different and far more original than we are initially led to believe. Even the general content Youre Next is done well, and in a much higher quality than most other films do. The script is very unique and original, with good characters and a satisfying twist on end.The Acting is good as well. Seeing as there are a lot of signs in a relatively short film, not all of them get much screen time. Shari Vinson plays Erin, the character disappeared more time with her is great in the role. A movie like this does not give much chance to show acting talent but all the characters are good in their roles.I could not be Youre Next scare anyone, but I rarely find horror movies to be terrible. In fact, I found Next Youre a hell of a lot more fun that I expected it to be, I laughed pretty hard at some times. Adam Wingard's a good job directing, photography is excellent and there are some really nice shots and cuts. The picture is very unpredictable, I never knew where the plot was headed, and the sound is also excellent. I strongly recommend that you look Youre close, incredibly fun, and I wouldnt be surprised to see it become a cult classic in the future. |
