| Review: When I heard he was making a film character Thor had serious vibration. When I heard that Kenneth Branagh was directing, I have more anxiety because it was Branagh, but that all he ever directed dramas.Going in the theater I was very low expectations for this film and man I was blown away. I like the fact that Branagh has the story as a superhero movie, but more epic Shakespearing approach. Marvelous.Anthony Hopkins Odin just fantastic elements ... I can not imaging another actor's portrayal. Odin's role captures the essence of nature and the delicate balance of fresh leader father. He radiates power with subtle accents Hemsworth as Thor vulnerability.Chris is outstanding. He has such a likability about him that even the most arrogant Thors point in the story you can see his friends stood by him. His performance is solid and very enjoyable. Tom Hiddleston is Loki perfect. He got good, sticky, be nice to your face but seeking to drive the knife in your back character.As as I said earlier that the story plays more like a fantasy epic dyed wool as a superhero story. The trip was amazing and Jotenheim Asgard itself was just beautiful to behold. Set design was excellent. The humor in the movie was very organic and did not seem forced. The story itself is very well balanced and does not leave you wondering what's going on. I almost want to be kept separate from the upcoming Marvel movies. It works well as a standalone unit epic.The I expected to be below standard, in fact, even top brand spinning Thors hammer comics as annoying as not to see. This film is a gem. All parties involved should be proud of themselves for bringing such great work on screen. I for one can not wait for a sequel to this film. With a bit of luck and see some of the other new sites like Muspelheim, Alfheim or Vanaheim.This is definitely a must see movie |
